Emanate Hospitality

Emanate Hospitality is a small consulting company based in San Diego, CA. Emanate’s founder, Rich Sabatowski brings years of experience and passion to each project. Past clients include;

  • Attitude Brewing Company, San Diego, CA-From scratch craft brewery. Project included site exploration, budget creation, design, menu creation and manager recruiting. Worked directly with Owner, Kurt Bach, to insure a successful opening. www.attitudebrewing.com

Rich Sabatowski

  

Rich Sabatowski started his restaurant life at age 14, folding pizza boxes and scooping ice cream. Through college, he waited tables and eventually made his way to Denver, CO. It was in Denver that he met his wife of 24 years, as they waited tables together in the Denver metro area. It was experience at the Larimer Group, at Cadillac Ra

  

Rich Sabatowski started his restaurant life at age 14, folding pizza boxes and scooping ice cream. Through college, he waited tables and eventually made his way to Denver, CO. It was in Denver that he met his wife of 24 years, as they waited tables together in the Denver metro area. It was experience at the Larimer Group, at Cadillac Ranch, where Rich understood that this was going to be a career. 

Rich’s first management job was with the Chart House where he was afforded a thorough training experience where his first Area of Responsibility was kitchen operations. After 1 year, Rich was promoted to Assistant General Manager and took over Bar operations. Through hard work and dedication, Rich later returned as General Manager as this location transitioned to a Landry’s Property.

Next Rich had the opportunity to be a part of the Il Fornaio restaurant family. As General Manager of the Downtown Denver location, he was brought on board to revamp the restaurant that needed a lot of attention. Through effective hiring, training and developing an incredible team, he was able to implement several systems and marketing strategies to change the course of the restaurant. Later, Rich returned to Il Fornaio to be the GM of the DTC location following a very dark time for the location. Through leadership, was able to reverse the negative trends of the restaurant and achieve new highs in the restaurant.

Rich also has experience in the Steak House world. As opening General Manager for Eddie V’s in Fort Worth, TX, he managed an extremely successful restaurant opening in a new market. Currently, Rich is General Manager of Island Prime and C Level in San Diego, CA, at $13m location with over 150 employees.
